My favorite Watkins products: Well, I have many!  Let's start with the Watkins Double Strength Vanilla! Watkins Cinnamon is the best I've ever found for baking! Watkins Chicken Soup Base is the ONLY one I will use!  Watkins Organic Cleaner is wonderful!  We have pets and nothing cleans quite as well as this.  I purchased a gallon and NOT purchasing anymore store bought cleaning products and replacing all of them with the organic cleaner.    Watkins Extracts are the best for using to bake and/or make ice cream!  Oh, I forgot! Watkins Baking Powder is also the best!  (The Watkins collection of cookbooks: Vanilla, Cinnamon, Black Pepper I use regularly) My favorite recipe is the Overnight Coffeecake although there are many others!

There are VERY GOOD REASONS why Watkin's Original Double Strength Vanilla should be everyone's choice.  This outstanding vanilla did not become the best-known vanilla in America by accident.  It is simply the best vanilla one can purchase and uniquely-enhances the other ingredients that are included in any item you cook that requires vanilla.  When one thinks of Watkins, one thinks of vanilla.  Father wasn't the only one who knew best; Mother did, too; and Moms have been buying Watkin's Original Double Strength Vanilla   faithfully for generations.  Watkins makes a whole family of great products, but one stands out like the Lone Star in the State Flag of Texas....Watkin's Original Double Strength Vanilla!

I wanted to let every one know that I have used Watkins products and I really do love everything that I have tried.  Watkins' Vanilla, almond, and cinnamon are just a few of my favorites.  I bake cakes and decorate them.   Everyone always wants to know what I put in them to be special.  Its the flavoring from Watkins.    There is a difference.  I love the laundry products that I have used.    The Generation III laundry detergent and Watkins Fine Linen Wash are excellent products that last forever.  I am not in Wal-Mart every week buying laundry detergent. Linda has been such an excellent distributor to work with.  She has helped me in my ordering processes.  She has been a wonderful person to work with.  I love the Watkins products that she has introduced me to.

Today, I just made the Watkins Vanilla Dessert Mix according to the recipe on the container.  I layered fresh raspberries from our last picking on the bottom of an 8" square pan.  I squeezed some fresh lemon juice on the raspberries to enhance their flavor.  After the pudding was done, I poured it over the raspberries and letting it all cool in the refrigerator.  I know this is similar to dump cake but how about Vanilla/Raspberry Dump pudding?  hehehe.  I think once it cools I'll cut it into squares prior to serving and add vanilla whipped topping and more fresh raspberries and a few springs of mint to garnish!

Not only is Watkins Double-Strength Vanilla excellent in cooking, but there area lot of other uses throughout the home too.  I always put a little in water in my pot-pourri warmer, the smell of vanilla wafts all through the house.  A teaspoonful in the bath water makes a soft scent that permeates the skin and compliments other perfumes or talcs.  I add a few drops to hot chocolate or coffee, for an indulgent taste that's a little bit out of the ordinary.  It can even be added to rinse water when you rinse your hair. All this and from one bottle!

I use Watkins Vanilla for the refrigerator.  I put some Watkins Vanilla in a cup of water and rub it on the inside of the refrigerator to make it smell good.  I then soak a cotton ball with Watkins Vanilla and place it in the freezer.  You can also do this for the refrigerator too.  Gives it a yummy smell and eliminates odors.

We put Watkins Vanilla in our oatmeal after it is done cooking.  Right before stirring in sweetener and milk.   It changes the oatmeal.  It makes it wonderful.   Try it!

I've been using Watkins Vanilla since I was old enough to bake. My uncle told me a long time ago it's the only vanilla he would ever use in his home made ice cream because nothing could compare to it. As someone who loves to bake, I've found that to be true also.
